Blog #4: First Day
Ladies, gentlemen, and people who may not identify with either of those terms, we're not fucked, at least in terms of school. Clap. No, seriously, do it. My first day, the day I have to gauge how good all of my teachers are, has come and it has passed. And, I've got to say, I got quite lucky with my selection of teachers. Let me walk you through the short day and how I expect to spend the next 10 months of my life. But first: I have an apology to give out. I was completely WRONG!!! I have two I believe. I woke up and realized that I missed the bus, so I got driven to school. Yes, I still don't have a license. Yes, I need to get on that. I then spent a few minutes talking with my good friend Ivy (remember him from entry 1?) before going to my first period class. I met up there with some friends (two of them actually know that I'm trans and are accepting so shout out to them) and we hung out and waited for the teacher to begin. Now, there isn't gonna be much interesting shit to say about school right now, this entire week is just gonna be teachers introducing themselves, and that's just what 1st period was, just introducing herself. Not much to say in that regard, but second and third period (I call it a period because I have one class for two hours) was fucking great dude.

So, I go to a different building for my second and third period, and let me tell you, what a building it is. It genuinely felt like how I imagine walking on a college campus is like. We were given a brief tour of the building by our teacher and the building was so clean it genuinely shocked me. Maybe this is because I go to a small high school, maybe my city just sucks. Anyway, we eventually left and I went to the wrong class, not for any basic reason, but rather because we spent so long there that, even though I walked into my 4th period class, I returned when it was 6th period. Anyway, that's how my school day went!
